In June It will be 800 years since Magna Carta was signed - so the Liberty theme is to celebrate that - please note: NOT freedom - they still had serfs back then. When? Probably Thursday 18th June, depending on venue availability Where? Central or South London , and as close to transport links as we can manage.

The CALL OUT:

We need between 4 - 6 stories/ poems on the night, which can either be to the general theme of Liberty, or a specific clause of the Magna Carta. Find out more here. There are plenty of weird ones as well as the more obvious Habeas Corpus.

• We do NOT want stories about the opposites of Liberty, it's a celebration.
• 800-2000 words,  the shorter the better, then we can get more in.
• any fiction genre (except erotica).
• poems welcome.
• No essays, memoirs or other non-fiction.
• Your own original work, in English. Submissions welcome from anywhere.

At the moment this is just a performance. We are investigating funding, if we get some, we may be able to pay for the use of your work, and for an actor to read it (unless you want to read yourself, of course).

If we get funding we will produce a book. If that happens, there will be royalties. If we don't get funding, you get a warm glow and applause, and a share of the door.

This is a bit vague still - but we wanted to get the word out so you can start writing.
