Deadline: Wed 14 Dec 2016
Stratford upon Avon Literary Festival are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter to join our team in the build up towards our 2017 anniversary festival

We need someone to work part-time and help us with programming and supporting the Festival Director, and your role will include liaising with publishers, sourcing images and books, distributing programmes, meeting and greeting authors and the public at the Festival itself. If you are interested in a career in events organisation, literary events or publishing, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to find out how a busy festival works.

The appointment, which is paid, will last from Mid-January 2017 to the end of the Festival on 30th April 2017 - max 240 hours, with your time weighted towards our Schools Week (27th March)and the festival period (23rd April to 30th April). It will involve some work from home, some out and about and some at the Festival venue. Proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon is essential and your own transport would be helpful but not essential.
