The development of the festival approach to our artistic programming and entrepreneurial activity has dramatically increased the number of people who come to Southbank Centre and the time that they spend here. A growing proportion of our work is free to access and is created in participation with a very diverse range of communities and groups. Our festival site attracts hundreds of thousands of people who have never attended a cultural event before. We have a dynamic and creative working environment and need talented, committed and motivated staff in order to maintain this.
This is a unique opportunity to become involved at a senior level with the planning and delivery of our ambitious festival programme working with the creative teams across all art-forms. As one of three Producers, you will be responsible for communicating and managing festival logistics, budgets and scheduling with all internal departments, and creating an enabling environment for festival creation.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced arts professional with a demonstrable knowledge of different art-forms and extensive experience of creative problem-solving, event production and delivery. An ability to plan large-scale projects with meticulous detail and manage complex financial budgets, deals and contracts are also essential as are team working and interpersonal skills.
We celebrate diversity in our programming, our audiences and our team. By attracting people to work for us from a broad range of backgrounds with diverse attitudes, opinions and beliefs we can continue to deliver the kind of exciting events and activities you would expect from the Southbank Centre.
