Reading Friends Communications Manager, The Reading Agency

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to develop and lead the communications strategy for our Reading Friends programme, with a particular focus on the national launch in October 2018. You'll need to be a highly organised and resourceful creative thinker with excellent project management skills.
Reading Friends is a Big Lottery funded programme delivered by The Reading Agency. It starts conversations through reading to connect older people and reduce isolation and loneliness. Reading Friends is UK-wide, but locally delivered by public libraries as well as community and voluntary sector organisations.
This is a part time (30 hours per week) fixed term contract with an immediate start until 30 April 2019. The post is based at our offices in Central London and offers a salary of £32,000 per annum pro rata.
