Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing (Poetry)
Deadline: Tue 12 Jul 2016
University College Dublin invites applications for a temporary part time position of Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing (Poetry)

The School of English, Drama and Film runs two highly successful postgraduate courses in Creative Writing, an MA and an MFA. The teaching of Creative Writing is a core activity of the School, and we wish to appoint a 0.5 Teaching Fellow to expand our provision for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

In recent years the School has hosted a number of internationally acclaimed writers (Anne Enright, Lia Mills, Carlo Gebler, Mary Morrissey, Michael Longley, Paula Meehan), and has a tradition of marrying creative writing with critical practice.

The development of creative writing is a key part of the School plan for 2015-2020 and to this end we wish to appoint a Fellow who will be able to contribute to the expansion of Creative Writing in the School, including the development of the teaching of poetry in the School.
