The Scottish Podcast Scholarship
Deadline: Tue 31 Jan 2017
The Scottish Podcast Scholarship is for anyone that's interested in the spoken audio industry, whether that's radio or podcasting

We're offering the chance for you to start your own show, with our support in the form of a monetary prize, equipment and media hosting.

The winner will receive:

- £400 to help fund their show
- Pro-level podcasting kit for recording your episodes
- One year’s free media hosting with Spreaker
- Full access to our Audacity audio editing course
- Full access to our Podcast Liberation course
- Mentorship and guidance on planning & launching your series

This support will help students to develop their pitch from the idea stage, right through to being available for download on iTunes and other podcast directories.

The competition is now in its second year. Last year it was open to students in the Fife & Tayside area, and was won by Stuart Russell who went on to launch his show: Earth – A Youth Perspective.
