Training Project Manager, Ministry of Stories
Deadline: Mon 20 Nov 2017
Ministry of Stories is looking for a training manager to devise a number of new training programmes designed to increase the impact and reach of our work to support children’s writing both locally and nationally.

In 2018, Ministry of Stories will develop and pilot a number of new training programmes designed to increase the impact and reach of our work to support children’s writing both locally and nationally. The pilots will include the development of our free after-school writing club programme, the training of local young volunteers as writing mentors, the training of local youth workers to deliver our programmes and the development and delivery of a pilot national knowledge transfer programme for those who want to establish a project or programme using our methodology in their own community.

We are looking for a training manager to devise these pilot programmes, to oversee their implementation and help us assess their impact. You will identify the training needs of participants; develop and refine their training in collaboration with the pilot partners and participants, devise the training materials and help to deliver the programmes themselves. You will also help to evaluate their effectiveness, develop ways to adapt or refine them for new contexts and explore ways to extend them.
