Writing East Midlands The Writers’ Conference 2018: Agent and Editor One-to-Ones
Have your work read by and pitched to a literary agent or editor as part of The Writers’ Conference 2018. Applications now open.
Writing East Midlands brings The Writers’ Conference back to Nottingham. This year we’re delighted to be partnering with Nottingham Trent University. The conference takes place on Saturday 3rd March 2018 at Newton and Arkwright Building, 50 Shakespeare Street, Nottingham, NG1 4FQ.
Tickets start at £50.
This one day conference gives the East Midlands’ writing community access to leading professionals from the industry. Panel events, debates, seminars, workshops and activities cover a range of writing disciplines including fiction, poetry, social media for writers, working with literature festivals.
Within the ticket price, there is also the opportunity to apply to have your work read by a nationally-acclaimed literary agent or editor. These one-to-ones will be taking place throughout the day. You will be able to discuss your work, address any issues you may be having and assess where your work is placed in the current literature and genre market.
The application process for the Agent and Editor One to Ones opened on the 1st November 2017 and will close 19th January 2018 at 5.00pm.
