I teach creative writing in high-level classes for professional writers, in leisure classes and for community initiatives. I have worked professionally as a stand up comic, now as a performance poet, as features journalist, script-writer and editor, fiction writer, and for Radio 4 as a researcher/link writer/devisor of a comedy panel game.
Currently, I am freelance editor and writer for Bradwell Books and a writer for Southerly Communications a creative agency. I also run a company, Chalk the Sun, which promotes Creative Writing Courses and services including workshops in London, holiday courses in Spain and writing retreats in Italy. Our newest venture is The Stand In Love Project working with Domestic Violence Survivors writing about their experiences.

My work includes articles, short stories and scripts for NME, The Guardian, The Observer Magazine, Melody Maker, Echoes, New Woman,Radio 4, Radio 2, Anglia TV, Moonscope for France 2, four full length shows for Edinburgh Fringe and many more. My most recent project Bunny Maloney, a 52 episode 3D animation for Moonscoop, Paris for which I wrote 2 episodes and 'punched up' dialogue for the whole series has now been sold around the world. The series editor, my co-writer and former director, Jonathan Wolfman has just won the Children's BAFTA Best Drama for Tracy Beaker Returns [ series 1] Jonathan is also a Chalk the Sun tutor.
