I am a writer and poet based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
I specialise in community writing projects.
I organised the first Swindon Festival of Poetry in 2012.
I am an Arts Mentor for the Koestler Trust,the UK's leading Prison Arts Charity.
I have facilitated a variety of workshops for adults and young people in Swindon,Bristol and Cheltenham.
I perform my poetry all over the country and am a memeber of the Malika's Kitchen Poetry Collective.
I am Lifelong Learning Tutor in Creative Writing at New College, Swindon.
My work has been published in the Morning Star, Ink Sweat & Tears and I was placed second in the Hungry Hill Poetry Competition in 2011 (judge - Cherry Smyth).
My life experience includes six months spent in rehab 12 years ago, followed by a 6 year spell living in Peru where I started my own business.
I am co-editor of Domestic Cherry, a poetry and arts annual.
I love words and cultivating enthusiasm for creativity in whatever form.

I spent six months in rehab in 1999/2000. I have been sober for the 12 years since this date. I lived in Cusco, Peru for six years. Created and managed my own vegetarian restaurant ‘Moni’ in Cusco, one son, born 2004. I worked in printing industry for fifteen years as Commercial Manager. I also worked in management positions for Esso, J Sainsbury and Kellogg’s. I currently work as a Community Officer (Maternity Cover Contract) for Swindon Academy and as a Learning Ambassador for Swindon Borough Council.
