Jo Brandon
‘Literature isn’t just about the representing the big picture; the majority - it’s about capturing the petit rècits that combine to make up that bigger picture. Giving space to voices that might not otherwise be heard.’
Jo Brandon was born in Essex in 1986. Raised in rural Lincolnshire she began writing at the age of nine and has since emigrated further North where she received a First BA Honours in Creative Writing from the University of Leeds. Since then Jo has taken on various editorial roles at Cadaverine Magazine where she is currently General Editor. Jo is also a listing editor for IncWriters and leads Poetry workshops in primary schools. Her poetry, short stories and non-fiction have appeared in a number of publications and she is currently putting together her debut poetry pamphlet titled Phobia.
