Led by Bloodaxe poet Helen Ivory, this ten week course will help you get to grips with key elements of writing poetry, from imagery and metaphor to how the poem looks on the page and sounds to the ear.

Through a combination of group discussion and one-to-one feedback, Helen will lend her 15 years’ teaching experience to ensure that you come away with an excellent framework for developing your writing. Your efforts will be rewarded with a Certificate of Attendance from the University of East Anglia.
