Anobii is a social network for book readers and an ebook retailer. Anobii is on the web, on Facebook, on mobile and on tablet to make it easy for you to network with people you trust and discover books you’ll actually like to read.

Our Company

The name ‘Anobii’ is derived from Anobium Punctatum, the Latin name for bookworm. In 2010, our company received investment from Penguin, Random House, HarperCollins and HMV to build a social retail site for ebooks. Since then we have built relationships with many more publishers in the book industry to grow our catalogue of ebooks and to improve our database of books.

Our Team

We have a friendly and passionate team of entrepreneurs, developers, marketeers, product managers, rigorous testers, creative and intelligent thinkers who all work hard in our offices in London and Hong Kong to make Anobii the best it can be. Everyday we consider new ideas, feedback from the community and new innovation to make sure we are constantly building something amazing for now and even better for the future.
