Awakening The Writer Within Autumn Retreat in Poumeroux, SW France

For our sixth Awakening The Writer Within retreat, we return to the lovely hamlet of Poumeroux near Massignac in SW France. Facilitators Clara Challoner Walker and Janet Dean aim to encourage and inspire new and developing writers to start something fresh or to make progress with an existing project. We welcome people interested in all fiction genres, as well as creative non-fiction and poetry
The retreat runs from Monday evening, departing Friday morning, and includes structured workshops, one to one support and free writing time.

Location: Poumeroux, SW France
Cost: The full cost of tuition, accommodation and all meals ranges from £395 to £595 depending on whether you want to share or prefer your own luxury en suite accommodation.

Clara Challoner Walker, author of A Tapestry of Vice and Virtue, and Janet Dean Knight author of The Peacemaker, also publish short stories and poetry. They met whilst studying for an MA in Creative Writing at York St John University. Both have had previous executive careers in corporate and public life.
