NAWE is on the road - next stop Yorkshire!

NAWE is delighted to be partnering up with Leeds Trinity University and First Story to run a free networking event for Yorkshire writers involved in creative writing in educational and community settings in Leeds on 17 September 2019.

This informal Yorkshire Writers in Education Gathering is a great opportunity to meet up with fellow writers in the region involved in creative writing in educational and community settings and swap ideas and information.

There will be a chance to share experiences – the best and the not so good! – and explore areas of your work you’d like to develop.

You’ll also be able to take part in a taster writing in education activity led by writer, performer and experienced creative writing facilitator Becky Cherriman

This event is open to all writers working in school, community, FE and HE settings (you don’t need to be a NAWE member to come along) and is entirely free but booking is essential as places are limited. Refreshments will be available from 5.45pm.

Date: Tuesday 17 September 2019, 6 – 8pm
Location: Room AF20, Leeds Trinity University, Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth, Leeds LS18 5HD
Cost: Free

Register via Eventbrite
