NAWE London Writers in Education Gathering - Rescheduled to 11th December 2019
Wed 4 Dec 2019
Join NAWE at a free early evening networking event for London writers working in educational and community settings which we're organising in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London, Arvon, Ministry of Stories and Spread the Word. Please note the date change (from the 4th to the 11th December) due to the national university strike.

This informal gathering is a great opportunity to meet up with fellow writers in the region to swap stories about working in educational and community settings and support one another.

There will be a chance to hear more about the work of NAWE, Goldsmiths, University of London, Arvon, Ministry of Stories and Spread the Word, and participate in group discussions around your practice and career as a facilitator.

You’ll also be able to take part in a taster writing activity led by Laila Sumpton, one of the Writing Program Leaders at Ministry of Stories and a freelance poet, and explore how this could be transferred to other settings.

This event is open to all writers working in school, community, FE and HE settings, whatever career stage you’re at. You don’t need to be a NAWE member to come along.

Date: Wednesday 11 December 2019, 6.30-9pm (refreshments from 6pm) PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE - ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR THE 4TH
