A Community Writers Sub-Committee has been initiated by NAWE and held a first meeting in Bristol on Thursday 9th May 2019. The aim of this sub-committee is to find ways to provide better support to NAWE members working freelance in community settings such as museums, galleries, therapeutic settings, charities, prisons, further education, freelance work in primary and secondary schools, etc.
The first meeting was attended by Caleb Parkin, Seraphima Kennedy, Bambo Soyinka and Michael Loveday as chair.
