I’m a freelance writer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in short fiction and poetry. I’m a qualified adult education tutor and have worked as a tutor and workshop facilitator since 2015, delivering creative writing and poetry courses and workshops for people of all ages and backgrounds online and in face-to-face settings.
I’ve been a tutor for the Workers’ Education Association and have worked with a wide range of organisations including New Writing North, The Cultural Spring, The Lit and Phil, Northern Writers Studio, Women’s Health in South Tyneside, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums, Women Poets’ Network, Newcastle Libraries, Hexham Book Festival, Crow Collective, Newcastle City Council Arts Team, and RT Projects.
I’m available for readings, teaching, workshops, residencies, mentoring, critiques, story-telling, and other writing related work.
