I am a performance poet and storyteller, and a multi-genre author of books for both children and adults.
I have experience of visiting nurseries, primary and secondary schools and deliver interactive and engaging workshops.
I can deliver assemblies, workshops to individual classes/year groups or virtual sessions. The workshops cover topics such as animals, the Titanic, war, conflict, engineering and spooky poems/stories, as well as poems from my upcoming children’s poetry book series, I Don’t Want To (titles include I Don’t Want To Go to Bed, I Don’t Want To Eat That and I Don't Want To Go to School).
I offer both in-person visits and for those too far to travel to; I offer virtual visits. I am based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. I also offer online workshops for EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3/KS4 (see my website for details).
I am the Chair of Governors at a primary school, with Level 1 Safeguarding and Prevent training.
I have an Enhanced DBS certificate and am registered on the DBS Update Service.
