I’m a London-based children’s author writing adventure stories for readers aged 9 to 12. My debut middle-grade novel, Hide & Seek Hero, was published by Troubador on 28 November 2026.
I visit schools across the UK, working with pupils in Years 4 to 7. My sessions are interactive author talks that combine fun quizzes, a reading from the book and imaginative exercises to get pupils dreaming up their own story ideas. I’m happy to tailor each visit to your school and welcome input from teachers and librarians on what will work best for your pupils.
My writing explores friendship, empathy, fitting in and having the courage to be true to yourself – themes that spark lively discussion and support reading for pleasure.
I grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and moved to London to study international relations. I’ve spent over 25 years in the non-profit sector, and alongside writing I advise global foundations working to tackle poverty, disease and human rights abuses.
I live in Ealing, where Hide & Seek Hero is set, with my wife and three children. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and public liability insurance.
