My main interest is in the potential of writing to promote health and well-being. I am in training as a Poetry Therapist and work in mental health, adult education and community settings. I also work in schools and have a close association with Creative Partnerships. I have had a long association with Lapidus; the Association for Literary Arts in Personal Development.

Victoria worked in my English Faculty (Penair School, Truro) alongside my colleagues on two or three projects that involved both the children and local / national radio. She was absolutely delightful to work with - a warm, caring and extremely talented poet and person. The children responded to her very positively and she engendered some close relationships with learners who had emotional and educational needs. She used poetry in a therapeutic way and all the pupils were able to engage with her ideas and developed self esteem.
