This six week Writing School East Midlands course is for budding poets wanting to grow a book.
We will look at how themes and emotional strands can shape poetry collections and there will be opportunities to create new poems as well as reviewing others you have written. We will work towards refining these and finding connections to build up a chapbook-length manuscript. Suitable for those with some experience of writing poems.
Siobhan Logan‘s poetry & prose collections Firebridge to Skyshore and Mad, Hopeless and Possible are published by Original Plus Press. They have been performed at Ledbury Poetry Festival, the Science Museum and National Space Centre. Her poems and stories are published in many anthologies and magazines and she co-edited a Five Leaves Books anthology for refugee solidarity, Over Land, Over Sea. She teaches Creative Writing at De Montfort University
