"Writing is my passion and my intention is to inspire, entertain and uplift as many people as possible. "

I enjoy writing poetry, short fiction and journalism. The latter can take the form of reporting, interviews or criticism. I have completed a Young Adult novel which I am currently working to have published. My experiences travelling and encountering new cultures inspire my writing, as do themes such as nature, time, life and death. I hope you enjoy my work!

I was born and raised in the north of England but have lived in China, Spain and France. I am Fiction Editor at Miracle Magazine and am a regular contributor to Cuckoo Review, The Mancunion and Third Year Abroad.

I have had fiction and poetry published in The Cadaverine, Visual Verse, Sonder, Under the Fable and Ink, Sweat & Tears in the UK and Sincerely Magazine and Sibliní in the US. I was long-listed for Eyewear Publishing's 2014 Melita Hume Poetry Prize.

I am a Digital Reporter for Manchester Literature Festival and have been a Creative Star and Young Curator at Cornerhouse/HOME.

Currently studying IPML French and Spanish at the University of Manchester
I appeared on Fifteen to One where I met Sandi Toksvig and was able to pitch my novel to her.
