Creative Reading Initiative: writers wanted
Fri 2 May 2003
Four experienced writers are needed to be involved in two forthcoming events for teachers, showing how writers can help to motivate reading.
The writers involved will need to be able to talk from experience and demonstrate how their work in schools, libraries or other similar settings, has helped young people with their reading.

The two events are as follows:

17 June: West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds
26 June: Northlight Gallery, Armitage Bridge

Each event will begin with lunch and run through the afternoon. Fee and travel expenses will be paid by the Creative Reading Initiative.

Any writer with relevant experience who is interested in taking part in either of these events should contact Jen Kilyon as soon as possible.
