Volunteer wanted at Dr Johnson's House
Fri 20 Jan 2006
Dr Johnson's House (where he compiled the first comprehensive English Dictionary) is part of the Literary Homes and Museums network, together with Shandy Hall. It is currently looking for a volunteer to man the reception desk during the 2 - 5.30pm shift on Mondays.
The job would suit a retired person, or a student wanting front of house experience for their CVs. Travel expenses would be covered, and for anyone wanting to work at special events, all evening work is paid.

Further details available on request, from the Curator, Natasha McEnroe on 020 7353 3745.
Dr Johnson's House, 17 Gough Square, London EC4A 3DE
