The Love the Festival Hall campaign looks set to be the most successful memory gathering exercise in the South Bank Centre's history, with more than 1200 memories received so far.
Whether you are a regular attendee or have visited the site only once or twice, your memory is valuable. It could have been a memorable musical event, a visit to the Festival of Britain, meeting someone here or even the building itself - every memory counts!

We've received a wide range of memories from all age groups so far, with stories spanning from the 1951 Festival of Britain up until today. You can view a selection of them by clicking here.

All memories will be added to a living archive which will launch when we open our doors again in the Summer of 2007. Visit the website to share your story, or pick up your free, exclusive LOVE THE FESTIVAL HALL enamel badge by submitting your memory in person at the Box Office, Festival Riverside, London SE1 8XX.
