The Scriblist website is proving highly successful and was featured this week on Radio 5 Live. NAWE is supporting the venture by offering a prize to the school that has encouraged the most submissions.
Several hundred schools have been involved and we've heard some great things about the different ways in which teachers are using the site to promote writing.
The school which submitted the most entries during the first phase was Nicholas Breakspear School in St Albans. They have over 30 registered users with a number submitting stories and contributing on a regular basis. The school will benefit from a professional writer's visit, funded by NAWE.
An introduction to the Scriblist project was published in Writing in Education No. 40.
