Animate IT '09: animate a trailer for your favourite book
Tue 6 Jan 2009
We are looking for entries from all over the UK and trailers will be judged by a panel in two age categories: 4-7s, and 8-12s. There will be one winner from each category and you can enter on your own or with your class or an after school group.

The challenge is to use animation in a trailer to show clips of action from a favourite book. Entrants need a camera or a webcam to film with and software on a computer to record and animate their work.

Prizes include animation studio software and hardware. The winning trailers will be shown in Film Street's Cinema and will be added to the Media Archive of Central England - this means that they will be saved in a film library so that people will be able to watch them in the future.
