Debjani Chatterjee, former Chair of NAWE, MBE, Royal Literary Fund Fellow and Writer in Residence at York St John University, will be reading from her latest collection, 'Words Spit & Splinter', on Friday 15 May at York St John University.
Debjani completes the final year of her RLF Fellowhip this May and this reading will celebrate her time at York St John University.
'A poet full of wit and charm' (Andrew Motion) and 'a voice of rare originality' (David Morley), Debjani is one of Britain's best-known Asian poets. With over 50 books, she is also a prose writer, editor, translator and children's writer.
