Writing in Education No. 61
Mon 18 Nov 2013
The latest edition of Writing in Education was launched at the NAWE Conference in York and is now available to other members.
Writing in Education No. 61 has a special focus on writing and dementia. It has been edited by Susanna Howard and John Killick, with contributions from many of the writers who took part in the NAWE roundtable events last autumn. Those events, which enabled writers and other artists working with people with dementia, emerged as part of our work within ArtWorks, a Paul Hamlyn Foundation special initiative.

The next edition of the magazine (No. 62, Spring 2014) will be largely devoted to the various contributions to our recent conference, though general submissions are also welcome.

No. 63 will have a focus on Poetry by Heart. The edition will be produced in early Summer and launched at the NATE Conference in Bristol (27–29 June 2014). Contributions are now invited, with the aim of exploring the subject of poetry and memorization in the broadest possible way.

The printed version of the NAWE magazine is mailed to Professional Members and Institutions. Any other members - including e-members - may purchase printed copies as available.

Associate/Student Members and those benefiting from Institutional Membership can opt to have the printed magazine sent automatically by upgrading. If you would like to do this, please contact Clare Mallorie.
