World Book Night
A million free books given away? What could possibly go wrong?

Ian Jack (The Guardian) examines the pros and cons of this planned event, which will take place on the 5th March. The 'action' will be filmed for BBC2 across the country and displayed live from London, Glasgow and Manchester. The real issue here is the uncertain future of the physical form of a good, old tattered book.
