On Tuesday 29th March 8pm, The Bridge Hotel, Newcastle is hosting a bad poetry slam. The creators Ed Burgon and Sam Steventon write on their event page 'Anyone caught performing REAL poetry will be forcibly ejected from the venue (unless it is read ironically)' so it's a perfect opportunity to take poetry a little less seriously to real comic effect.
