Noetry bad poetry slam returns to Newcastle!

On Tuesday 29th March 8pm, The Bridge Hotel, Newcastle is hosting a bad poetry slam. The creators Ed Burgon and Sam Steventon write on their event page 'Anyone caught performing REAL poetry will be forcibly ejected from the venue (unless it is read ironically)' so it's a perfect opportunity to take poetry a little less seriously to real comic effect. If you are interested in performing submissions should be sent to stev123@hotmail.co.uk. Entry is free so you don't have to break the bank, and as it's a slam there's a prize promised for the worst poet (something novel!)
