Night Train
From students on the Creative Writing Programmes at the University of Kent, a selection of poems, short prose and stories.
Programme Leader and Editor of Night Train 4 Susan Wicks writes: "I decided to put aside all considerations of empathy and 'fairness' and simply back my own hunches. The resulting choices may or may not be quirky, but I feel strongly about them, and it gives me genuine satisfaction to see them in print... Moving from our first 'all-comers' years to a distilled selection hasn't been easy, but...we hope everyone can relate to the work showcased here and remember its origins - the atmosphere of support, and above all the peer-involvement that made its development and sometimes even its genesis possible."
