Channel 4 Writing for TV Awards

The 2026 Channel 4 Writing for TV Awards are now open, offering four emerging screenwriters based anywhere in the North a long-term industry placement, a £3,000 bursary, and mentoring support.
This year’s placements are with Hat Trick Productions (Derry Girls), Merman (Catastrophe), Warp Films (Adolescence) and FilmNation TV UK (Small Town, Big Story).
Choose the production company that best suits your work and submit before 26 June 2026.
