2019 marks 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre, a major event in Manchester’s history, and a defining moment for Britain’s democracy. To commemorate this monumental anniversary, a year long programme of events and exhibitions at the People’s History Museum will explore the changing face of protest and the role of creative disobedience.
