Derby Poetry Festival Poetry Prize 2023

Entries are invited for this year's inaugural Derby Poetry Festival Poetry Prize. The national competition is open to UK writers aged 18+ (max 60 lines) on any theme. Helen Mort judges this year's competition. There are four prizes including an East Midlands Prize to celebrate writers from the region.
Prizes
There are four prizes £500 for first place, £250 for second place and £100 for third place as well as our East Midlands Entry where a longlisted poet from the East Midlands will receive £150.
Entry fee
The cost of entry to the competition is £10.00 for up to 3 poems and £4.00 for each subsequent poem.
