Peninsula Press: Call For Submissions of Fiction And Non-fiction
Deadline: Sun 31 Mar 2019
For the months of February and March, Peninsula Press is accepting submissions of fiction and non-fiction from agented and unagented writers.

Fiction: We are interested in fiction that challenges norms (formal, aesthetic, heteropatriarchal, &c). Fiction that is literary because it pays attention to language, not because it is only about the nuclear family. We are interested in perspectives that have been traditionally consigned to genre.

Non-fiction: We are interested in full-length and shorter (see our Pocket Essays series) essays that find unusual and under-explored perspectives from which to investigate and interrogate the modern world. See Mixed-Race Superman and Exposure, published last year, for reference.
