Raise the Bar: 2026 Writing Retreats (applications close: 21:00 on 31st May 2026)

Raise the Bar’s 2026 writing retreats are now open for applications! Aimed at poets at different levels of experience, with tutors Salena Godden, Pascale Petit, Muneera Pilgrim, Adam Kammerling, Vanessa Kisuule and many more.
Priority for poets based in South West England (other writers can still apply), with some spaces reserved for writers of marginalised identities.
Price includes vegan catering and accommodation (plus bursaries available). Beautiful countryside locations outside Bristol. Supported by Arts Council England
