Submissions of poetry pamphlets are invited from poets based in Scotland, especially those from groups underrepresented in poetry publishing – BPOC, LGBTQ, disabled. All age groups and backgrounds are welcomed.
We love to read authentic voices that look at the normal or mundane and make it abnormal, or better, or even worse. We love the political; the strong voices that use poetry as a means of activism or rebellion. We love lyricism, brutality and humour.
What we really love to see are nice, cohesive pamphlets: sets of poems that work together and bolster one another with mutual themes, stories, and patterns. Please check out our previous publications to get a flavour of what we enjoy.
Please send us:
* 20-25 pages of poetry
* A short (80 words) biography
* A publication history, if applicable
Once the submissions window closes, we shall read all the submissions and aim to contact everyone that we wish to publish in October 2023 – with a view to slating publications for 2024.
