Submissions of previously unpublished poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction and memoir are invited from writers currently enrolled in a postgraduate program in any university across the globe.
SWAMP Writing is a postgrad-run initiative that was the brainchild of a Masters and PhD student at The University of Newcastle, Australia, back in 2008.
Our aim is to discover what lurks in the murky waters of postgraduate Creative Writing workshops across the globe and share the words with one and all.
The theme for Issue 35 is Small Worlds. The intimate spaces, fleeting moments, and hidden corners where life reveals its depth. A single room, a brief encounter, or a whispered thought, these tiny realms often hold a quiet power that is often left unexpressed.
SWAMP Writing is a great way for studying writers to get their name out there and add SWAMP to their list of publications. We would love the opportunity to publish your prose and poetry.
We look forward to reading your work!
Visit www.swampwriting.com or email swampwriting@gmail.com for more information.
The deadline for submissions is 22 May 2025.
