TASTE: A poetry competition – Oxford Poetry Library
Deadline: Sun 24 Mar 2024
The first Oxford Poetry Library competition, in association with the Oxford Hub, celebrates the theme of TASTE. We hope to highlight the many talented but possibly under-celebrated poets we know are out there, while supporting the library.

Open to adults based in the UK, entrants can submit up to 5 pieces of original poetry by our deadline of 24 March 2024 and be in for a chance to win. We suggest a £3 donation for one entry and £5 for two, to be donated to Oxford Poetry Library.

Poems will be judged by Oxford poets from both the city and the university: local prize-winning poets Vanessa Lampert and Alan Buckley, and Jenny Lewis, a poet and teacher of creative writing at the University of Oxford.

Prize information and guidelines on how to submit your poem are on the Oxford Poetry website
