The Nick Darke Award
Deadline: Mon 29 Apr 2013
The 2013 Nick Darke Award has been announced and new submissions are now being accepted
The award, which celebrates the memory of the legendary Cornish writer, is open to all writers. It is presented each year to a writer for work that pursues an environmental theme within one of the following three disciplines: stage play, screenplay (feature film or short film) or radio play.
The winner will receive the prize money of £6,000 which aims to facilitate the winning writer with the time to complete a full script that is up to industry standards.
Writers are asked to submit work on an environmental theme in recognition of Nick's lifelong commitment to this issue. The word environmental may, however, be broadly interpreted.
