The Studio Faire Residency Fellowship will provide two weeks accommodation to a creative practitioner in a beautiful residency venue located in a small town in South West France in 2025.
Applications are welcomed from international visual artists, makers, writers, filmmakers, photographers, musicians and all other creative disciplines at all stages of their careers.
We’d like to offer creative practitioners with limited financial means a period of research, development and production, as well as an excellent adventure in a foreign culture and the exchange of ideas with all others in residence at the time.
Applicants can apply for fellowships to cover accommodation costs at Studio Faire. They are responsible for all other costs of the residency (materials, travel, subsistence, insurance etc). Studio Faire can support additional fundraising through Grants or Crowdfunding.
We will select two applicants based on evidence of their professional experience, quality of past work, project proposal and expected benefits of the residency.
Two successful applicants may choose a time that suit them best from our available dates in 2025. (We will call for applications for two more fellowships to take place in 2026 at this time next year. Applicants are welcome to apply again next year if they are not selected this year.
We do not charge application fees.
