Ware Poets 27th annual Open Poetry Competition
Deadline: Wed 30 Apr 2025
Poems accepted on any subject, in English, to a maximum of 50 lines. Open to poets aged 16 and over from any country. This Year’s Judge is Hannah Copley.
Prizes 1st £800, 2nd £400, 3rd £200. Sonnet prize £200
Winning poems and commended poems will be published in an anthology, and available on Ware Poets’ website, from mid-July
Winning poem will be entered for the Forward Prize
Winners notified by 13th June 2025
Prizegiving event 11th July 2025
Entry fee is £5 per poem
