#AWP26 takes place in Baltimore, Maryland from March 4-7, 2026.
The #AWP26 schedule features over 315 accepted events—including panel discussions, readings, and conversations covering fiction, nonfiction, poetry, community engagement, and more.
Events aren’t the only draw at #AWP26. An annual showcase of hundreds of exhibitors, the AWP Bookfair is the nation’s largest marketplace for independent literary presses and journals, creative writing programmes, writing conferences and centres, and literary arts organizations.
