Join prizewinning writer and editor Akulah Agbami on her 12 week Afrika Homecoming Creative Writing online workshops starting Thursday 2 April 2020 at 8.30pm GMT using Zoom.
Join me as we journey through 12 Afrikan countries, gaining an understanding of history, geography, cultural traditions, current affairs, languages.
Using this knowledge, we will stride through short story writing techniques, getting to grips with character back story, the creation of place, the poignant use of omission/silence, and understatement.
Over the 3 month period, you will craft a vibrant anthology of Afrikan-centred short stories.
