Arvon at Home Masterclass: Writing that matters with Jay Griffiths
Thu 9 Jul 2020 to Thu 9 Jul 2020
In a world of crisis, writing is more important than it has ever been. Writing that is vivid, significant and true. Jay Griffiths will discuss writing and the living world, how to think about expression that touches the reader, doing so without verbal or emotional cliche.

This workshop is about writing creative non-fiction with precision and passion, deepened by research and delivered with courage. There will be the opportunity to get your teeth into some writing and to ask Jay questions.

As the author of Wild: An Elemental Journey and Kith: The Riddle of the Childscape, the multi-award-winning writer Jay Griffiths has developed a body of work that is both political and personal and is rooted in both nature and culture.

The masterclass will be delivered via Zoom and will last two hours including time for you to write.

Date: Thursday July 9th 2020, 11:00am – 13:00pm
Location: Online (Zoom)
Cost: £35
