Arvon Online Writing Day: Writing from Life - Personal stories in poetry and prose with Gwyneth Lewis
Writing about subjects close to your heart can be challenging. Take a day out to work on your project with a group of writers on a similar journey.
Whether you are writing poetry, non-fiction or a hybrid mix of the two, we invite you to join this warm and supportive day exploring the sometimes-challenging process of writing about your own life.
Over the day, Gwyneth will draw on her wealth of experience writing and teaching both poetry and non-fiction to supportively guide you through the world of writing from life. She will share examples of auto-writing in poetry and prose that will inspire you to create your own creative pieces.
Gwyneth Lewis is an award-winning freelance poet and non-fiction writer. She wrote the words on the front of the Wales Millennium Centre and was the first National Poet of Wales. She teaches in the UK and US.
