Arvon Residential Writing Course: Poetry and Songwriting

In this unique writing week for songwriters, poets and the curious, you will explore how poetry can inform your lyrics, and how melody and song are already a part of language.
Join poet Jack Underwood, songwriter Emma-Lee Moss, and harpist Serafina Steer for a creative, experimental week to bring new lyricism to your poetry and greater poetic depth to your lyrics.

In this unique writing week for songwriters, poets and the curious, you will explore how poetry can inform your lyrics, and how melody and song are already a part of language.

Taught by a poet and songwriter who love to break form, this will be a creative, experimental and kind week, in which to bring new lyricism to your poetry and greater poetic depth to your lyrics.

No previous experience or instrument required; all experience and instruments welcome!
