Arvon Residential Writing Week: Kickstart your fiction with Caleb Azumah Nelson and Carys Bray

Whether you are building a short story collection, perfecting a novel or beginning a brand-new project, this course will explore the tools and techniques you can use to become a better and more confident writer.

Tutors Caleb Azumah Nelson and Carys Bray will guide you through enjoyable and challenging writing exercises, group discussions and workshops, focusing on character, dialogue, editing and self-reflection. Surrounded by a community of writers in a supportive, nurturing environment, you’ll have time to experiment with your own work and the opportunity to receive constructive feedback during one-to-one tutorials. By the end of this fun and stimulating week you’ll feel reinvigorated and fully equipped to build, perfect or begin your fiction project.

Caleb Azumah Nelson is a British-Ghanaian writer and photographer, living in South East London. 

Carys Bray is the author of a short story collection and three novels.
